The American Bantam Association (ABA) supports bantam breeders across the US and Canada, aiming to foster breeding, exhibition, and community among enthusiasts.

The ABA's efforts strengthen the bantam fancy by providing standardized guidelines, educational resources, and a platform for breeders to showcase their achievements, thereby preserving and promoting diverse bantam breeds.

The American Poultry Association (APA) has a mission to promote and protect standard-bred poultry through various efforts, including:

• Maintaining the publication of the American Standard of Perfection
• Supporting and protecting poultry shows as an educational platform for breeders and the public
• Granting judging licenses to qualified members
• Educating junior poultry keepers on the value of standard-bred poultry

Overall, the APA aims to promote and protect the interests of standard-bred poultry through a variety of activities, including sanctioned meets at poultry shows across the US and Canada.

ALFA is a organization dedicated to promoting and growing the numbers of all large fowl breeds, both standard and non-standard. ALFA offers awards at its annual National Show in Norman, OK, with a minimum payout of $1,000 to the top 5-20 birds depending on membership levels. Membership fees are used to fund these awards, with 50% going back to each district for their Annual District Show.

Membership benefits include eligibility to compete in ALFA shows throughout the year, with no additional entry fee required for current members. The organization aims to promote non-standard breeds and varieties by offering awards to those that meet certain criteria, such as being in the final stages of acceptance into the APA Standard. With a goal of increasing awareness and popularity of all large fowl breeds, ALFA invites breed clubs to join and participate in its events.

The Serama Council of North America is a non-profit organization founded in 2003,  by Jerry Schexnayder of Louisiana, two years after he imported the Serama from Malaysia. It is the the original, and the largest Serama Breed Club in North America. The Serama is quickly becoming the most popular bantam in the United States, and SCNA members have organized shows and events in nearly every region. 

The Youth Exhibition Poultry Association (YEPA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting young people interested in raising and showing exhibition poultry. YEPA offers a comprehensive educational program, known as the A.C.E. Program, which provides youth members with hands-on experience, knowledge, and skills in breeding, managing, and showing exhibition birds.

Through its programs and activities, YEPA aims to foster a passion for poultry keeping and exhibiting among young people, while also developing their critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills. Members of YEPA have opportunities to participate in showmanship competitions, take certification exams, and engage with other enthusiasts through national events and local clubs. By providing a supportive community and structured learning environment, YEPA helps youth members achieve their goals and develop valuable skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
